Finally Just a Participant at UXcamp Europe

UXcamp Europe 2025 – what a weekend.

As always: smart people, great talks, hallway confessions, and a coffee-to-human ratio that’s barely legal.

Some of my highlights: 🎸 Henning’s Electric Callboy watch session – pure BarCamp nostalgia with headbanging and heart. 🧭 Sascha’s thoughtful take on leadership 🕸️ Sabine on customer journeys at scale 🌀 Peter’s workshop about concept diagrams.

But honestly – the most meaningful part is always the people. Old friends. New friends. The ones you only see once a year but who somehow still get you.

It’s also been a quiet personal milestone. I left the organising team in 2022, but it’s taken me a while to fully let go. Last year still felt like “Do I need to fix something?” This year – especially on Sunday – I finally just was. A participant. A camper. A part of the crowd. And that felt good.

Thanks heaps, UXcamp. You’ve still got it.
